Gaspésie Gourmande's Table d'hôte circuit

Many people went to selected restaurants to eat Gaspésie Gourmande's Table d'hôte, our new gastronomic experience.From july 15th to september 1st, in every corner of the Gaspé coast, 9 restaurants offered Tables d'hôte at a fixed price (25$, 30$ and 35$), where our delicious gaspesian products were served into a 3 courses menu.

'' The clients seemed very satisfied, from the comments I heard and those received online, has said the manager of the association Gaspésie Gourmande, Eric Caron. The participating restaurants made more business as usual and made a statement of using more and more local products into their menu during the campain.'' As an example, L'Eau à la bouche, a restaurant in Mont-Louis, proposed a very surprising and mouthwatering menu : cognac flambed Bonaventure's emu steak served with Gaspésie Sauvage's wild mushrooms.

''Some restaurant owners and clients told us they would like to start the circuit earlier next year, in order to cover the whole touristic season, for a more complete gastronomic experience.'', said Eric Caron.

Gaspésie Gourmande would like to thank the participating restaurants : le Fleur-de-lys, l'Eau à la bouche, la Marée haute, le Brise-bise, la Maison du pêcheur, le Fin goumet, la Seigneurie et le pub St-Joseph, and le Courlieu
